53kg and under
1st of May: weighed in at 53.0kg which is such a victory.
I started my personal training sessions on the 7th of May and I've done 3 sessions thus far with her and I am about to have my 4th session with her tomorrow. I'm excited about learning new things such as PUSH and PULL workouts, correcting my form, getting advice on nutrition and improving my diet and of course pushing myself with added weights. It's truly a new experience for me and I'm enjoying the process although sometimes it is easy to relapse into familiar territories - inclined treadmill walks.
I've got a friend who also went through something similar and she's obsessed with health and how much stronger her body can get so I've been seeking advice from her as well and it's been really eye opening.
I'm currently having my period and I weighed in at 54.4kg today. Normally, I would start freaking out. But for some reason, I'm currently in a place where I can reconcile quickly with how I'm feeling and also understanding that our bodies, especially as women tend to experience bloating and fatigue mainly during our monthly cycles. That has as well been a learning experience for me, not just in terms of understanding but also in letting go and accepting how I feel.
I have been on almost daily workouts except for Friday when I did absolutely nothing and today, I went on a hike but I did not push myself to get a second workout in which I would have normally done.
My diet has been varied over the past month or so but today was not a particularly healthy day of eating, especially after the morning coffee and pastries, I didn't feel as good. But I made it up with steak, sushi and some lentil soup with egg and greek yoghurt. I think at the end of the day, it's just about nourishing your body and feeling good. Hence, I'm trying to learn what food is good for my body and what isn't.
I've got another 7 sessions with my PT and that is over the course of 3 weeks and I can't wait to see the difference in my body and gaining that knowledge which I can then build my own workout routines off.
I'm starting to reconsider my weight goals because prior to this, I was so focused on the numbers, but now, I think I'm more focused on my measurements instead, everything I own is now too lose for me and I mean, EVERYTHING.
So, I'm looking forward to my final measurements in the next few weeks before I'll be ready to re-purchase anything because your girl just can't possibly cope with multiple wardrobe changes.
If you're looking to getting on the healthy bandwagon, I will 100% recommend it. I can't recommend it enough. I need to start posting a little more detail, but with everything going on right now, I haven't quite gotten the time to do that. So, fingers crossed in the next week, I'm going to have to sort everything out.
Till my next post. xx
