MRO and all things health
Hello everyone, a little overdue on my posting, I was actually set to deliver a blog post about 2 weeks ago, but because of the uncertainty, etc, don't really want to get into it, I've had to re-blog.
Alright, so just a quick update here.
I've been at home since Monday (16/3/2020) since work imposed work from home for everyone and shortly after that Malaysia imposed work from home, Movement Restriction Order (MRO) on Wednesday (18/3/2020). I haven't been out, actually had help with grocery runs so that I don't have to leave the house and I'm really grateful for that.
I've been trying to find different ways to workout from home and to eat healthy. I find Emi Wong and Blogilates very helpful but I'm more on a lazy streak right now, so, I'm doing Emi's 15 minute workouts, which are short and sweet and I feel re-energised after which is great. I do snack occasionally, but because I'm preoccupied with work or during weekends I'm trying to learn online, I'm actually not snacking as much as I thought I would be. I prepped meals for lunches during work days just so that I don't have to spend so much time in the kitchen. I've already got egg fried rice in the fridge for 4 lunches at least. I'm not finding myself peckish, so I'm really listening to how I feel before I eat. I'm also cautious because I don't want to gain weight while we're all stuck at home, and my skin has cleared up so much because I've not been out in the pollution, my hair is a lot healthier and less hair fall, and it's really been at it's best. So, I'm actually seeing a lot of improvement to my mental and physical well-being. Tell me how have you been feeling?
I've realised as well that now might be the best time to work on losing weight, on learning tips and tricks on better dressing, on doing all the things that I have neglected for the past close to 2 years or so.
I actually was thinking about how we have learnt so much from this experience, the air quality is so much better and I think that we might be closer to remote working than we have ever been before. I know we had discussions around essential service workers having to go to work physically into an office. But this really just brings about the question whether we do really have to as a lot of things can indeed be done via online or where we see huge congregations of people, we might actually be able to contain and reduce that.
I think we should put more thought into remote working and not everyone needs to have a physical space, and hey, that's also cost saving for businesses, so it's a win-win situation, right?
Anywho, moving on, I've been trying to get my hydration on, but believe it or not, I've been getting 1.5 litres everyday because I don't want to over-hydrate but it's looking like it's not enough. What?? It's absolutely mind boggling. I've still got a lot of food left to last me for awhile so I'm not too worried, I've got my reserve food like pasta with sauce and tuna for at least 6 servings, so, really, not worried.
But I do foresee this whole MRO being extended due to the nonchalant behaviour of the citizens. But then again, what can we do, right? Can't control people, I'm really angry about it, but I'm trying to be chill, because I don't want to mess up my zen.
I'm not sure what else to talk about, so, I'm just going to end here, but if you have anything you want me to speak about, please please, leave a comment below!
Till my next post. xx
