Struggles
It's been one month and 5 days since we've been home and since the Movement Control Order (MCO) was implemented by the government of Malaysia and since then I have not stepped out of the house except to collect my delivery from the lobby. It's been quite a whirlwind experience to be honest, I did not know that everything would change so quickly and I certainly did not think that my life would change overnight.
I've started fasting since the beginning of the month in preparation for Ramadan, today is my last day of fast prior to Ramadan, tomorrow Ramadan officially starts and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed to be honest. Sitting in front of my desk on my laptop everyday is tiring. My sleep schedule has been completely thrown out of sync for the past 2 weeks and so my sleeping time is 2am-5am and I wake up at around 1-3pm, which really sucks. Today has been somewhat a good day, I went to bed at around 3am and woke up around 11am. I then sorted out my shifting permit as I would be moving out from my current residences and had a conference call with my new residence area.
Later today, I had a quick rest, job applications and then I worked out with a friend via video call for 30 minutes, then we had a catch up session and now I'm writing on my blog. Today's dinner is literally peanut butter and jelly sandwiches because I have bread that is about to go off soon and why waste something good. After, I will most probably have nicecream which is frozen mashed banana. It tastes like ice cream, just 170 calories, you cannot go wrong with it. I've just put on a hair mask which I'm going to leave in for 2 hours then wash up before dinner, I'm using the Percy and Reed Wonder Overnight Recovery mask, which supposedly you can leave it on throughout the night but I don't want to sleep with my stinky hair so, I'm not going to go wear it overnight.
I've been looking at more ways to consciously watch what I eat, so, I have started a food diary, just using Excel, and here I track my calorie intake, my expenditure eating out and the food I eat. I find this really useful to stick to my 1200 calorie per day goal.
If anyone has any tricks to help me stay awake and alert without having coffee, I would really appreciate it! I'm honestly just so exhausted, I've tried everything from stretching to meditating! I don't know what's wrong!
How is everyone else doing?
